Summer To Do

Hope you all had an amazing Fourth. We sure did. I officially am calling today, recovery day. It is taking everything in me to not join the napping kids and write this post. Ya feel me? If you are a regular reader around here you know that I was having a MID SUMMER CRISIS (similar to a mid life crisis). The Fourth of July always does that to me. It always makes me feel like summer is almost over. To remedy this crisis Quinn and I made a fun summer to do list. Anyone else?

Because I am me and share everything, I will be back with updates on our summer to do list. I plan on using these fun moments for photography practice ;).

Now we have a mission for the rest of summer and I can rest assure my kids are making awesome summer memories. Man, the whole mommy-guilt thing is rough. Anyone else having a mid-summer crisis? What is on your summer to do list? Share!

My kiddos aren’t done with school until July 31 – so no guilt yet! We make a Summer to do list every year ( … and document with photos along the way. It’s a fun way to document some key points of the summer… and to make sure you don’t let it slip through your fingers. Sadly, our summer is only 3 weeks this year, as we move from Germany to the USA… but those 3 weeks will be packed with good byes, hellos and an Aloha! Enjoy your summer!

3 WEEKS is short! I have been so nervous about the whole transition back to America for your family. I hope you will keep us all updated. It is a BIG change.

Blogging has been a great way to express things… I think that will continue once we’re back… it will be interesting seeing America through our eyes again. It’s going to be another adventure!! And 3 weeks is SO short, I hope the girls are ready for the whirlwind to start! (I’m not – haha)

Hi Megan! I always have mixed feelings about summer ending. We love being able to sleep late and stay up late because we are all night owls, but the school schedule and activity schedule is definitely good for my daughter because she is always “bored” and I struggle to keep her busy…I swear the 1st day of summer break she told me she was bored! Seems like so many of her friends are gone most of the summer traveling and visiting family.

I love the sign you made. How do you make those? I see these everywhere and would love to make some for our home. Thanks and I love your blog!

Your not behind at all. Started working on it last night. Not close to done yet! I think we all feel a little behind with the fourth right in the middle of the week.
