I seem to hold onto everything. It is a blessing and it is a curse. Lets just say my basement holds enough stuff to furnish and decorate a whole other house. Tell me I'm not the only one! One of the things that has been hanging out in the basement for some time is a bulletin board. The bulletin board hung in my room as a teen displaying all the important things of my teen life. Pictures, dance tickets and various memorabilia. I believe the bulletin board was a birthday gift from the little ...

Reading Corner Update & Added Storage
It is no secret that Quinn's room is one of, if not my favorite room in the house (Check out the reveal here). When I walk into that room it makes me happy. I think that is what a space is suppose to do. It feels finished. It is the only room I can sit in without taking a mental inventory of projects I want to do. With that being said, we did make some adjustment to Quinn's room. It all started with the "dangerous room". Yup, that is what Quinn calls it. For those of you who don't know, the ...
Boys Build Forts (or have their moms do it for them)
Boys will be boys. Really, they will. We didn't even use the word gun for the first three years of Quinn's life and he called it a "blaster thing". He didn't have one so he turned Mr. Potato Head's fire extinguisher into one. There is no way around it. Quinn is all boy and all energy. Wisconsin winters can be tough when there is lots of energy and nowhere for it to go. We all know how much Quinn loves building with my pillows (which you can read about here, here and here). He also loves ...
No Sew Bunting for V-Day
I love crafting and I love creating, but I actually have no true skills. This means if I can do it, anyone can do it. Literally! I love me some bunting! Hmm...What do I love about it? I love that it is festive and quick and easy. I love that scraps of fabric, a dollar spool of ribbon, a hot glue gun and a pair of pinking shears are all that is required. I literally trace right onto the fabric with a pencil using my fancy stencil (pictured below). Then I cut out my ...
Valentine’s Kid Project
Okay, so it is more of a mom project with the kids. I couldn't sit on my Valentine's day wall another day so I revealed it to you last week. I wanted to take a moment to go over my little project I rocked out with the kids. It really isn't fancy or complicated and actually didn't turn out like I intended, but I love it. First I got a piece of paper, some washable red paint and a little heart I cut from foam. The plan was to have both kids hand prints have a heart in the palm ...
