Yup, that is all it takes to entertain a three year old. We threw some dry kidney beans in a bin with a few scoopers, measuring cups and cups and Quinn loves it. Simple, affordable good old fashioned play time. Sometimes it is nice to get back to the basics. In a world where my kid could navigate an iPad by three I like to make sure he is still playing and imagining. This last picture is of Quinn's flower. He has referred to it as his garden and the beach. He has buried ...

Birthday Bash
Well the little guy couldn't have had a more perfect day for his birthday or his birthday party. Here, in Wisconsin, we welcome 70 degree weather in October. The little guy requested a Badger birthday party so that is what he got. Obviously, they don't really make stuff for Badger birthday parties, it is more for tailgating/football parties. Anyhow, we did our best to make it fun and festive. Since he was only turning three it was mostly family and just a few little ones. One way we decorated ...
Making Birthday’s Special
Yesterday was my little guy's birthday. The big three! I can't believe how quickly the last three years has gone. I love birthdays and I love making my little guy feel special. Luckily, we can share everything virtually through Pinterest, and our blogs (she is over at Budget Bungalow).Wisconsin also had a huge weekend in sports. Brewers win, followed by Wisconsin Badgers beating Nebraska, ...
Balloon Wreath
The little guy is turning 3!! I can't believe it. Good bye toddler, hello little boy. He has requested a Bucky Badger party. I have started to get the party decorations ready. For those of you who don't know Bucky Badger is the University of Wisconsin-Madison's mascot (and mine and the hubs Alma Mater or Alma Mama as Quinn says). The school colors are red and white, hence the red and white wreath. Pinterest might be the most expensive free thing. I was browsing Pinterest and saw a balloon ...
