I first saw this idea on Pinterest and knew it would be perfect for me. Eleanor already had chalkboard doors in her room and this would be the perfect way to mark her milestones. Since today was Eleanor’s four month check-up, we decided to grab a shot of her with her “stats”. I learned some things along the way.
1. Take pictures during the day when you have good lighting.
2. Write heavier.
3. Use a steadier hand! How did I end up with so many blurry shots?
4. Put all the information on one door. This makes it easier to photograph (I think).
That being said, I think we found a new tradition. We can do it on check-up months for sure and maybe some in-between.
