We are hitting mid-October and my chalkboard has been sitting blank for weeks. I finally got around to getting a little something, something up there.
I found the trick to writing on chalkboards is to keep the board wet. The chalk goes on much more smoothly and much more vibrantly. It may not seem so at first, but once it dries it is going to be amazeballs. Promise.
This little chalkboard vignette is in addition to our spooky Halloween mantle shelf.
Let’s be real folks…like I was only going to show you one picture of my chalkboard!
And from the other side.
It is no secret here that we love our chalkboard paint. We have used in Quinn’s room & Eleanor’s room. We have done our share of chalkboard art, which you can see here & here and we marked a few special occasions here & here.
Oh, and this one isn’t home decor or chalkboard paint, but it is using chalk. It was just too fun to not share (you know….in case you missed it). I love my sidewalk chalk superheros!
Any of you having fun with chalkboard paint or chalkboards? What kind of designs are you creating?
