What 30 Days Has Taught Me

October 30, 2014 by Megan 7 Comments

Today is my thirtieth day in a row of blogging. That is a really big deal for me, which I explained at the start of this challenge. I am doing a year worth of 30 day challenges all in attempts to better myself. Challenge one: Whole30 Challenge two: Thirty days straight of blogging. Challenge three: Undecided, but you should join me. We can start on November 1st. Here are five things I have learned from challenging myself for 30 days. 1. No mental acrobatics. The decision ...

It is an odd phenomenon, because I haven't blogged or pinned or shared via social media. In other words, I haven't been putting anything in the bank. Yet there I was, ...

I Thought You Should Know…

June 5, 2012 by Megan 34 Comments

I honestly cannot tell you what drove me to start this blog. I had already picked a name and half tried once before, gotten frustrated and given up. Then my sister was moving to Georgia and starting a blog, I had just had a baby and was staying home and it just seemed like the perfect time to give it a try. So I dove right in with no clue of what I was doing. I didn't know what a widget was. In fact, I kept referring to it as a gadget when I was talking to Ross. Anytime I asked him for help, I ...
