This week Quinn started preschool. It is only two days a week for 2.5 hours. Even though his time away isn't long, it is monumental. It is the start of his school career and his experiences without me. The start of him meeting people I don't know. It is hard to wrap my head around the fact that I am a parent of a child in school. I feel like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. It is quite remarkable how quickly time flies when you are a parent. Quinn is a very ...

Kiddo Randomness
Bare with me and my randomness. I just have so much to share. Judging by the Facebook response, we are all a little off kilter. Yes, it is true, my creative time has been taken over by summer fun, family events and life. It is all good though, because Wisconsin winters are long and I will get my mojo back. The Family Movie Night That Never Was
Today was one of those days. Quinn wet the bed and he had an accident later in the day (We had been doing so good). Eleanor had an explosive diaper. I think that is what a space is suppose to do. It feels finished. It is the only room I can sit in without taking a mental inventory of projects I want to do. With that being said, we did make some adjustment to Quinn's room. It all started with the "dangerous room". Yup, that is what Quinn calls it. For those of you who don't know, the ...
When Christmas Comes Down
Around here Christmas has come down. Gone are the decorations, the printables and the pine needles. Quinn still talks about Christmas like it is coming up any day now. Guess he is going to take a little longer to get over it. I really loved the magic Quinn brought to Christmas this year. Such an exciting time when you are three! For a second there I was a little worried about the monster we had created! By the time we were on our third Christmas he knew the drill was was like, "Where are my ...
