Doesn't it always seem like there is never enough counter top/table top space when entertaining? A fun, simple fix to this is to create a beverage station. A place to store cups, napkins, and the must haves for your signature drink. I grabbed this cart and everything on it (minus the alcohol, limes, lemons and flowers) from World Market. I also chose this bench from World Market. It is actually an outdoor bench, but I have been dying for a bench at my dining room table. I love ...

Its All About the Windows & How a Room Is Inspired
I often get the question, Where do you get your inspiration from? And that is a hard question to answer. Inspiration is a combination of things for me. The space, my budget, what is available, how I want the space to function and what makes my heart sing. Sometimes I get stuck on an idea and the rest of the world isn't aware of my genius. I will run from store to store trying to find whatever it is I have envisioned, only to find out it doesn't exist. Sometimes you can fix that with a DIY and ...
Hanging Gutter Bookshelves & the Low-Down On the Reading Nook
Last week I revealed Eleanor's big girl room reading nook. The first completed project of her new room. Since posting it, I have received lots and lots of questions about her space. Big Girl Room Updates and Mood Board
Less than 9 weeks to go until baby is here and we are slowly, but surely getting our act together. Work on Eleanor's big girl room has begun. New room, big girl bed and she will be upstairs. All that is to be quickly followed by a new baby! Lots of changes for her and she is little miss independent so I am crossing my fingers ...
Front Entryway Makeover: Before & After
Our front entryway kind of goes against logic. We got rid of storage! Who does that? I mean, in theory, storage is nice, but sometimes storage just becomes a place to store more junk. Thus is the case with our front entryway. When we moved into our house, it looked like this. There is so much wrong with this space. For starters, that rug is the size of a piece of paper. The mirror is actually glued onto a glass block window. Glued on pretty good too, so aside from completely replacing ...
