I was lucky enough to receive a box full of Martha Stewart Crafts products and they did not disappoint. I already whipped up this chalkboard tray, and I couldn’t wait to craft more!
This is little Miss E’s first Halloween. Well not her first, she was this unbelievably adorable strawberry last year.
Oh-my-word they grow up fast! Last year she couldn’t walk and she couldn’t eat the candy, so aside from being adorable she didn’t really have the full “Halloween experience”. Well now she is walking and talking and loving candy so I know she is going to have a blast. I wanted her to have her own little trick-or-treating bag. I used a plain Jane bag from the craft store along with Martha Stewart Crafts paint and stencils.
I used a triangle sponge I had around for applying the paint. Keep it light and you should be okay. Since you are applying light amounts of paint, and not saturating it, it dries very quickly.
I’m really happy with how it turned out. Eleanor will be toting her candy in style.
No pillow cases for my little girl. I kid. I wont judge if your child lugs their candy around in a pillow case. I’m pretty sure I always did. What did you lug your candy around in as a kid? Will your kids be toting in style?
