I have given you glimpses of Hudson’s room– like this gallery wall.

Robot/Space Art in Nursery Gallery Wall with free Blast off Printable.

The completely talented husband made all the art and you can get the blast off printable here.

Clearly, since baby number three’s arrival almost 10 months ago, I have been slacking. The vision I have for this room hasn’t been met. I think that is part of why I haven’t shared. I don’t know when or if it will ever reach that level of completion, but I still want to share it with you.

It is hard to believe that Hudson is almost 10 months old! He has started crawling and pulling up on furniture. He likes to hang out perched on his knees.

BABY-LOVE-5

He eats food by the hand-fulls. His feet do the excited kicking thing and his hands open and close in excitement when he sees a banana. He loves them. He is much more interest in eating food he can feed himself vs pureed baby food we feed him. He is absolutely the sweetest and easiest baby ever.

BABY-LOVE-2

Happy and content–he can spend a long time exploring. I think he is going to be one smart cookie–he spends a lot of time just taking things in. It is almost like I can see his brain working. He loves to clap and wave and we are working on blowing kisses. He says cat, dad and all done. How offended should I be that mom isn’t one of those things? He lights up when he sees his brother and his sister.

BABY-LOVE-1

BABY-LOVE-3

Everytime I pick up his tiny little body and feel his soft skin, I instantly feel a million things at once. Deep love and joy, quickly followed by this panic that time is going to fast and he is growing too quickly. That is quickly followed by guilt that I don’t pick him up and cuddle him enough.

BABY-LOVE-4

But he is thriving and I have done this before so I try not beat myself up too much. Plus, I see how much his brother and sister love him and all that he gets from that relationship. Even though he may not get as much attention from me as my first, I know he gets enough attention and each kind of attention offers it’s own gifts.
