While the kids were asleep, I had fun playing with my Halloween “mantle” — aka: dining room console table. This year we reused a lot of things and added a few new fun things from American Crafts available at Target.
For this mantle we used the bunting and the fun label stickers from the American Craft line at Target. This fun banner is one of three kits available. There are also the mini witch hats and paper wreath (you can see below). Target is carrying a wide range of American Crafts Halloween product, from the kits mentioned above to individual embellishments and craft supplies. There is also a 6×6 paper pad and more than a dozen embellishments from washi tape to epoxy stickers and labels that can be used in coordination with the kits or on their own.
Everything else is regular old home stuff and dollar store finds.
I went with a witch theme. Think of this as witch’s workshop.
I also made that fun little paper wreath.
So when the kids woke up the next morning the house was transformed. Quinn was so excited about these decorations. He is really into spooky Halloween stuff this year. He wants to be a vampire for Halloween. We always have so much fun decorating for Holidays. It makes the everyday feel just a tad more special and adds to the build up of each holiday.
Can you believe it is almost October? Tomorrow is Quinn’s school field trip to the pumpkin farm. That means carving pumpkins is in our near future. Any Halloween decorating or crafting going on at your house?
I was supplied with a selection of American Crafts Halloween line for Target. All ideas, crafts, photos and words are 100% mine.
