Less than 9 weeks to go until baby is here and we are slowly, but surely getting our act together. Work on Eleanor's big girl room has begun. If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you already knew that. We still have lots to do. What has me the most worried is that Eleanor will be moving to a big girl bed. New room, big girl bed and she will be upstairs. All that is to be quickly followed by a new baby! Lots of changes for her and she is little miss independent so I am crossing my fingers ...

My Ever-Changing Dining Room Shelf
Ever since we put this dining room shelf up (Christmas of 2011) a little over a year ago, it has become my go-to place for decorating. I love that I can see this shelf from the kitchen, dining room and living room. It makes my whole house feel festive and focusing most of my efforts on one wall gives me a lot of bang for my buck. I cannot tell you how many times I almost dipped my paint brush into my coffee. My lovely painting is the one with the yellow brush strokes? I was just getting started. I did random brush strokes and had fun with color. One of the best things about being a parent is reliving your childhood. I don't know that I ...
House Tour: Crashing My Sister’s Pad
My sister, Brianna, has been living away for close to two years now! She first lived in Georgia for a year and now is in Connecticut. Her husband's job has them on the move for a couple of years. We are a very close knit family so her living away is definitely tough. Especially when she has such cute nieces and nephews. Thanks to modern technology there is a lot of Face Time and keeping in touch. I have been pestering my sister for some time to send me photos of her place so I can share ...
