Today I went to a funeral. Old friends of my husbands lost their son. He was four days old. Their son was diagnosed with anencephaly during their pregnancy. They had a little fighter. They got to bring him home. They said they had longer with them then they ever thought they would and he brought them more gifts then they could have imagined. It was beautiful to see their strength and bravery and love.
It was one of those moments where your perspective is fined tuned. Those reminders as you chug along–Those moments that make you want to put more good out in the world, love bigger, be more present.
