As if Eleanor’s Room needed anything else! I have an obsession with letters, and now she has a fun E to add to her decor. A super simple, quick project. Pinky swear. All you need is a cardboard letter, a sheet of scrapbook paper, fabric scraps (and glue gun) and Mod Podge (of course!).
BLAH letter.
Trace your letter form on your paper and cut it out. (You can always cut it out later, like when you are waiting for paint to dry.)
Paint the sides of your letter. I used acrylic paint I had on hand. Nothing fancy.
While the paint dries you can cut out your paper letter and make your flower rosettes. Click HERE to see the flower rosette tutorial. Acrylic paint dries quickly so no worries.
Now use Mod Podge to adhere your paper letter to the front of your cardboard letter. Add a layer of Mod Podge over to seal and protect your project.
Let this bad boy dry and then hot glue your flower rosettes on to the letter. Voila!
So now little E, or as her daddy often calls her E-Machine and E-Money, has another fun touch for her room. Does anyone else have an obsession with letters like me? We have lots of E’s (Eleanor), Q’s (Quinn) and B’s (Bray) around here.
