Christmas Crafts for Kids: Handprint Ornament- Supplies Needed
- Pattern (download available at bottom of post)
- Foam in the following colors:
- Flesh tone for skin
- Red for hat and berries (optional)
- White for hat brim, mustache, beard, eye brows
- Pink for cheeks
- Green for holly leaves (optional)
- Ribbon for hanging ornament
- Eyes
- Adhesive (glue dots work best)
Technically you could use scrapbook paper or fabric or whatever suites your fancy. Christmas crafts for kids should use affordable supplies that are easy to work with.

The beard is made by tracing your child’s hand.
The rest of the ornament comes from the pattern available at the bottom of this post. Trace and cut it out. Go ahead and assemble (use the picture as a reference). You can use glue, but glue dots work better because everything stays put and doesn’t shift as your are assembling.
