A Frozen Birthday Party

May 22, 2014 by Megan 18 Comments

Eleanor, along with every other child, is obsessed with Frozen. She knows every word to every song. The soundtrack is on repeat in our car. She also knows every hand gesture, hair flip and stomp of the Let it Go scene. Elsa is her favorite, because "she has the powers". Anyhow, we did our best to make it fun and festive. Since he was only turning three it was mostly family and just a few little ones. One way we decorated ...

Bridal Shower: Dessert Table

October 5, 2011 by Megan 1 Comment

This may be my post, but it is my mom's creation. As you know, I co-hosted my sister's bridal shower this past weekend. My mom totally rocked the dessert table. A dessert table is one of the easiest ways to make a big statement at a party. First of all, you know everyone is going to visit it (seriously, who doesn't visit the dessert table?). The trick to doing a dessert table is to choose a color/theme. We went with blues and greens because they are the wedding colors. After choosing the colors ...
