That Giant Space Above the TV

I’m kind of an obsessive re-arranger. It is one of those things I do. I’ve been that way as long as I can remember. Me and my bestie would rearrange our rooms and make plans to decorate it on a shoestring budget monthly. Oh, and I was 11. So it comes as no surprise that the living room just got rearranged again.

Love this gallery wall surrounding the TV. With a few tweaks, the gallery wall stayed, but the TV left.

I picked up this giant frame at Goodwill.

I popped out the art, painted the frame and used the staple gun to attach chicken wire. I found the chicken wire at Home Depot. I actually did this before on a smaller scale with a frame where the glass had been broken– check that out here.

I then used the Walgreens app to print of my Instagram pictures. Always look for a code! I found one for half off.

I know I don’t have the following other bloggers have on Instagram. I’ve read about all the kinds of posts I should be posting to gain followers, but I just cannot. This is my life and I cannot even begin to tell you how thankful I am to have it documented and accessible for me and my family. I know it isn’t for everyone, but I am thankful for those of you who follow along on Instagram (@balancinghome).

These photos bring me such joy. Every time I sit down and put my feet up, I’m overcome with gratitude.

I totally snapped these pictures while the kids were watching Odd Squad. It was one of their favorites.

I of course, cannot bust out the real camera for a project and not snap pictures of what really matters most.

I’m embarrassed to say how long it took me to get those photos on. Painting the frame and adding the chicken wire–no biggie! Lining up my photos kept throwing me for a loop!

The best part about displaying memories like this in your home, is it is meaningful to everyone. The kids love having the pictures up and it often leads to reminiscing.

The best part is, you can change the photos up or turn it into a memo board or a place for holiday cards. The best kind of projects are the ones that are thrifty and have multiple uses. Especially for a girl who loves to change things up!
