Is it crashing if you are the Matron of Honor and it is your sister’s wedding? I don’t know about you all, but I love weddings. The weather was beautiful, the ceremony was beautiful, the bride was beautiful. There was just a whole lot of beautiful going on. If you know Wisconsin or anything about Midwest weather you know that she is one lucky lady to have gotten married in March on an 80 degree day. These kinds of things just don’t happen! The fact it was St. Patrick’s day makes her that much more lucky!
The pictures are taken at the state capital and at the Memorial Union Terrace. The reception was at Union South in Varsity Hall.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves. These are not the professional photos, just pictures I snapped (or had someone else snap) because I couldn’t resist. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
What better way to end a Wisconsin wedding then with a giant Bucky blanket.
There were so many special touches I never got pictures of. I missed the cake and dessert table, the awesome signature drink the mother of the groom did (it was called a lucky charm) and the entire ceremony. Guess we will have to wait for the professional pics to see the rest. The bride has a blog, Budget Bungalow, if we are lucky she might share more of her big day over there. A little side note: If it was on paper the husband probably designed it.
