Around here Christmas has come down. Gone are the decorations, the printables and the pine needles. Quinn still talks about Christmas like it is coming up any day now. Guess he is going to take a little longer to get over it. I really loved the magic Quinn brought to Christmas this year. Such an exciting time when you are three! For a second there I was a little worried about the monster we had created! By the time we were on our third Christmas he knew the drill was was like, "Where are my ...

My Holiday Home
The home is dressed for the holidays! That is a lot easier then getting me dressed for the holidays (haha), but we are working on that! The long, slow journey of losing this baby weight and then some. Slow and steady wins the race, right? I digress. Holiday home tour anyone? Don't mind if you do... Thanks for touring our holiday home. Hope you got some ideas and if you haven't started yet, I hope it put you in the holiday ...
Dining Room Shelf
We always envisioned a shelf on the gallery wall. Because this is such a popular walk through we didn't want a table. They were too deep and none were long enough. Thus, the shelf idea was born. Living Room Update
I don't have any recent photos up of our living room. It is a working progress, but it is mostly at a place I love. Even when I love a space I am constantly changing it up, tweaking it, adding to it, etc. It is just my way. It blows my mind that someone can place a vase on a shelf and 5, 10, 15 years later the vase is still sitting on the shelf in the same place. Definitely not my M.O. We are always changing this up around here. So here are some photos of our living room. As we go I can fill you ...
Goodwill Headboard Makeover
For those of you who follow me (if you don't, go ahead and start) you know that I picked up this headboard at Goodwill (as mentioned here) for $14.99 (well, less actually, due to discounts). There she is hanging out in my garage waiting for her makeover. By makeover, I mean a good spray down with my new best friend Carbon Mist. This metallic spray paint by Rustoleum is magic in a can. Literally. It seriously looks like we bought a metal headboard. I am officially obsessed. I will share more ...
