Hudson is one week old today. Crazy how fast this week went. I have done a lot of crying this week. I am one hot hormonal mess. Hudson and I have been snuggling A LOT! I'm his favorite place to hang out. Who can blame him? I am pretty awesome. Every time I stare at this tiny, adorable little miracle I cannot help but think of Quinn and Eleanor. It feels like yesterday that I was holding them and falling madly in love and now Quinn is 4.5 and Eleanor will be 2 in May. Where did the time ...

Cultivating Memories and Mom Guilt
Know anything about that? Mom guilt--its the worse. The thing with mom guilt is, no matter how much you do right there is always something that is nagging at you. I am a stay at home mom and I work pretty hard to be present in my children's life. We make a holidays and birthdays a big deal. We have lots of traditions. We get out and experience the world. Baby is due next month, and I have two other rug rats I am responsible for all day. On ...

On Valentine's Day I posted about how we were celebrating Valentine's Day in the bedroom. Just because Valentine's day wasn't getting fancy, it doesn't mean it wasn't going to be celebrated. Y'all know how much I love my holidays around here. That has rubbed off on the kiddos too. They look forward to the decorations and the festivities more then me. The kids woke up to Valentine surprises. Eleanor was so excited about her coloring book and crayons and Quinn was so excited about his maze ...

It is absolutely crazy to believe that they have been married twice as long as I have been alive. To be honest, I like to drag out the fact it is my birthday. As a mom, I use it to get out of changing diapers and doing laundry and as an excuse to hit the road and have some me time. Last week I ...
