First of all, I want to start by saying how much I love blogging and the whole Balancing Home community. I know my post have become irregular. Funny thing is: I have so much I want to share with you. I'm hitting the third trimester of pregnancy so by the time the kiddos are in bed I am pooped. This is probably going to sound weird too, but the chair we have at our desk is literally painful to sit in. It kills my tail bone, which makes it even less likely I will plant my bottom down and get to ...
Family Life
Our Christmas
Our Christmas is crazy and chaotic, but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. As a kid, it was the best. I love that I have so much family and that we make time to see them all. My little sister moved to Connecticut this year and after hours of face timing, the kids were pretty excited to see her in real life. Especially Quinn. We had a family night at my parent's house Saturday night and we rocked a gingerbread house. Quinn really wanted to make one. At 29, this was my very first ...
A Full Week: Milestones, Cheerleaders & Santa
This is one of those weeks where we had a lot going on. Monday, I was the helper in Quinn's classroom. We had the usual: Quinn's school Monday (me volunteering) and Wednesday, but we also managed: story time, open gym, ...
Our Thanksgiving Weekend & Christmas Shelf Updates

The kiddos and I loved having daddy home. We need to win the lottery so Ross can join me in stay-at-home-parentdom. We are lucky enough to have lots of family nearby and were able to celebrate Thanksgiving three times. The kiddos absolutely loved seeing so much family and playing with their cousins. I ...
A Week Of Halloween
Once upon a time, not too many years ago, Halloween was about me. I am Mad Grad, and in Madison they do Halloween big. One year I was Christina from her Dirrty video. If you don't know the reference, don't look it up. The costume was anything but classy, but thank god I did it. I have photographic proof that once upon a time my body was hot. Multiple c/s and a 12 pound baby later, photographic evidence is NEEDED! I would post a photo, but I'm afraid you would all desert me and this place would ...
