Holiday Porch

December 9, 2014 by Megan 3 Comments

Because our porch looked like this for nearly seven years... It was hard to ever believe we could have a beautiful holiday porch. This Spring we finally gave the porch a makeover and I finally had more then an eye sore to decorate for the holidays. This holiday porch is brought to you by Balsam Hill. The garland, topiaries and wreath are all from Balsam Hill and the quality is amazing, you can check them out here. I live in Wisconsin so I needed something hardy to hold up to ...

Our Christmas

December 29, 2012 by Megan 4 Comments

Our Christmas is crazy and chaotic, but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. As a kid, it was the best. I love that I have so much family and that we make time to see them all. My little sister moved to Connecticut this year and after hours of face timing, the kids were pretty excited to see her in real life. Especially Quinn. We had a family night at my parent's house Saturday night and we rocked a gingerbread house. Quinn really wanted to make one. At 29, this was my very first ...

Our Thanksgiving Weekend & Christmas Shelf Updates

November 27, 2012 by Megan 9 Comments

I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving day I posted what we were grateful for and we kicked off our iPad giveaway. Ross was off Wednesday through Sunday and it was AWESOME! The kiddos and I loved having daddy home. We need to win the lottery so Ross can join me in stay-at-home-parentdom. We are lucky enough to have lots of family nearby and were able to celebrate Thanksgiving three times. The kiddos absolutely loved seeing so much family and playing with their cousins. I ...

October 17, 2012 by Megan 7 Comments

We are hitting mid-October and my chalkboard has been sitting blank for weeks. I finally got around to getting a little something, something up there. I found the trick to writing on chalkboards is to keep the board wet. The chalk goes on much more smoothly and much more vibrantly. It may not seem so at first, but once it dries it is going to be amazeballs. Promise. This little chalkboard vignette is in addition to our spooky Halloween mantle shelf. Let's be real folks...like I ...

My Valentine’s Wall

January 20, 2012 by Megan 42 Comments

I wanted to break this down in a few posts, but I am just so excited to show you it I cannot sit on it anymore. I figure I can give you the run down on a few things in future posts. The dining room wall has sorta become our holiday decor hot spot. The shelf (post on that here) kind of turned it into our "mantle" (Check it out at Christmas here and the non-holiday version here). When we first hung the gallery wall I didn't know that we would be switching out the art and playing with it as much as ...
