I love Christmas, I do. I love all the creativity of gift giving and decorating and crafting. I love the smell of a Christmas tree and the warmth it brings to a space. I love the twinkling lights and the sparkly ornaments. I love that the husband gets extra days off of work and we get extra family time. I love the music. I love the food. I love the pure joy of finding the perfect gift for a loved one. I love the wonder in the young one's eyes. I love a lot about this season. It truly is a ...
CREATIVITY
Dining Room Shelf
We always envisioned a shelf on the gallery wall. Because this is such a popular walk through we didn't want a table. They were too deep and none were long enough. Thus, the shelf idea was born. Yesterday, being Thanksgiving and all, we carved out a little time (pun intended!) to gather as a family and read the things we are thankful for. To make sure Quinn was engaged we put him in charge of pulling out each slip of paper and handing it over to be read. This was so fun and truly was ...
