DIY Kid Craft- Clay Christmas Ornaments

November 30, 2015 by Megan Leave a Comment

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We celebrated twice! Once on Thanksgiving and then again on Friday. We also finally managed our first pic as a family of six. We were running late getting out the door for Thanksgiving, but we were all dressed and clean and I had even managed a shower so it seemed like as good of time as any. The kids were anxious to get going. We piled on the couch, set the timer and did a few takes. Of course, when I looked at the pictures later there ...

In fact, Saturday morning while Ross and I enjoyed our coffee and the kids collected sticks for my wreath (check that out here), they also ran in circles around the train track we drew on the sidewalk with chalk. Well that box I cut a hole in for my wreath that I referenced earlier this week, became a train. It wasn't a plan, ...

September 16, 2015 by Megan 3 Comments

I talked about money being tight and really needing to focus on priorities to get our finances in a place that makes us happy and comfortable. If you missed that post, you can catch it here. I'm sure a lot of you are in the same position. As luck would have it, I'm a craft supply hoarder. I definitely have my share of paints, adhesives, strings and the basic crafting items. I've been itching to decorate for fall. The easiest way to do that would be to drop a couple hundred bucks at various ...

Simple, DIY Menu Board

September 9, 2015 by Megan 1 Comment

I was lucky enough to get to rock some of Jen Hadfield's Home + Made line (Tatertots & Jello). I guest posted over there, doing my own little Anthro inspired recipe box. If you didn't catch it over at Tatertots & Jello, I will be posting the details soon. I got a nice little box of goodies to create with. The recipe box, of course, inspired these printable recipe cards. That, of course inspired, these printable recipe cards for marriage. Perfect for a wedding shower or to include ...
