Thanksgiving Printable Pack & Fall Vignette

September 25, 2015 by Megan 1 Comment

I love feeling festive and celebrating and my kids love it too! I believe that holidays don't have to break the bank to feel festive and special. This fun little fall vignette and Thanksgiving printable pack originated with this stick wreath that I made. You can grab all the deats on this stick wreath here. This natural vibe inspired an awesome Thanksgiving printable pack. I already owned everything except the apples! The apples came from our apple picking adventure that I can't ...

Thanksgiving Journals & Christmas Shelves

December 6, 2014 by Megan Leave a Comment

Well we made it through our first week post-Thanksgiving break. We really enjoyed our break. With Quinn in school full-time (kindergarten), having him for a whole week made it feel like the good old days! To top it off, Ross was off of work Tuesday-Sunday. The kiddos fit in two sleepovers and we had two days of Thanksgiving. We also took a trip to Chicago. We were able to spend the day at the Museum of Science and Industry and then grab dinner and dessert in the city before shooting up 94 ...

November 7, 2012 by Megan 3 Comments

We have been busy filling our jar with gratitude around here. Quinn loves telling me what he is thankful for. Every morning he asks if I can write down what he is thankful for and everyday I fall more in love with my little guy. I swear, as a mom, you think you love your kids more than anything in the world and then you start to love them more and more and more and you didn't even know more love was possible. Who could have fathomed? Aside from our jar of gratitude, our table is still ...

Velvet Pumpkin Place Card Holder & Thanksgiving Table

October 26, 2012 by Megan 14 Comments

I had so much making the velvet pumpkins the other day. When I got to putting together a Thanksgiving table I decided I wanted needed place card holders for my imaginary Thanksgiving dinner at the end of October. Yeah, us bloggers are way weird. This is like play time for me though. I had so much fun on the table and mini velvet pumpkin place card holders. Here is a quick tutorial on how to rock these. Promise they are simple. If the sewing part turns you off, no worries, I can't sew and ...

Giving Thanks

November 1, 2011 by Megan Leave a Comment

I wanted to make a point of incorporating thankfulness this month, seeing as though it is November and all. This is no spend November so I had to rock what I had. Surprisingly, not a problem. The gist: everyday write down something you are thankful for. I wanted this to be a family thing and I wanted to make sure we didn't forget to do it so I set up a "Give Thanks" station right on the kitchen peninsula. All you need is some paper, a marker and a container and you are set. I use to be into ...
