Weekend Wrap-Up and No Spend Update
No spend November is going strong. It hasn't been easy to resist, but it has been easier than I thought it would be. My cousin gave me the heads up that the Milwaukee Zoo was free on Saturday. We decided to take advantage and headed up there with Gigi (my mom, Grandma Gregory) in tow. Gigi treated Quinn to the train and the lift. Giving Thanks
I wanted to make a point of incorporating thankfulness this month, seeing as though it is November and all. This is no spend November so I had to rock what I had. Surprisingly, not a problem. The gist: everyday write down something you are thankful for. I wanted this to be a family thing and I wanted to make sure we didn't forget to do it so I set up a "Give Thanks" station right on the kitchen peninsula. Birthday Bash
Well the little guy couldn't have had a more perfect day for his birthday or his birthday party. Here, in Wisconsin, we welcome 70 degree weather in October. The little guy requested a Badger birthday party so that is what he got. Obviously, they don't really make stuff for Badger birthday parties, it is more for tailgating/football parties.
